- Open a Terminal and go to your home directory:
cd ~ - Extract the contents of the downloaded file:
tar xjf firefox-*.tar.bz2 - Close Firefox if it's open.
- To start Firefox, run the firefox script in the firefox folder:
~/firefox/firefox
